TNT & TBS host Essence Music Festival Events
On one of the hottest New Orleans days on record, TBS & TNT threw some of the most talked about events during Essence Music Festival 2011. The day began with a booth appearance and V.I.P. Screening with Southland’s Regina King, hosted by comedian George Wilborn at Harrah’s Casino Theater. Additional screenings with the casts of House of Payne (Keshia Knight Pulliam & Demetria McKinney), Meet the Browns (David & Tamela Mann) and Memphis Beat (DJ Qualls, Keb’ Mo’ & Leonard Earl Howze) took place throughout the day, which ended on a high note with the “Rock the Block” Day Party at the New Orleans Board of Trade. DJ Biz Markie kept the party moving, while V-103 Atlanta radio personalities Ryan Cameron and Elle Duncan interviewed various celebs.
